Carter Jonas, Ripley Castle
A targeted and fully integrated PR campaign across all media channels to gain positive press coverage promoting the launch of Ripley Castle in North Yorkshire, which went on the market in January for the first time in its 700-year history.
We designed the campaign for our long-standing client Carter Jonas, and Sir. Thomas and Lady Ingilby. Our approach was to set up an exclusive with the Sunday Times, which included a tour of the castle and an interview. Following a front-page and double-page feature in Home, we have continued to handle media enquiries, tours, and interviews.
Since launching, it has attracted substantial media attention with features in ITN National News, Calendar, Look North, BBC Radio, the front page of Saturday’s Yorkshire Post, the Telegraph’s Great Estates, Country Life, Yorkshire Living, and the Saturday Mail. The Ingilby family maintained a transparent approach throughout the process with coverage highlighting the estate's historical and cultural significance; this communication and their support for ongoing community events have played a crucial role.
This is our most high-profile campaign to date due to the nature of the instruction and vendors, which has required us at every interview.
