The Otto in Hackney is just one of the many fashionable developments in up-and-coming locations marketed by the UK New Homes team at Cushman & Wakefield Residential. The team at Elevate was appointed to PR this collection of 89 new homes, which overlook one of east London’s most prominent parks, Hackney Downs, as well as to promote its sales success that was soon to follow.
We started by identifying who this development would appeal to and then brainstormed a number of angles that would work for pitching this scheme to our target publications – some ‘gems’ included, park side living, pet friendly homes, flats with outdoor spaces and a North of the river story. We also gathered an impressive case study of two First Time Buyers, which we used to secure coverage. As a result we made headlines multiple times across weekly national titles, including Metro and Evening Standard - the perfect publications to reach London’s FTBs, downsizers and those wanting to find more convenience and security in central London.
Our mission was to ultimately to support Cushman & Wakefield’s sales drive and we are pleased to report that as a result of a strong team effort across all PR and marketing channels, The Otto has seen bumper sales and an impressive number of owner occupier buyers – a sometimes rarity when selling off-plan in a prime location.
