The 8th March is International Women's Day, an annual event that celebrates and recognises the achievements of women across the globe; by celebrating, commemorating and honouring women's accomplishments, raising awareness about gender disparities and discrimination, as well as promoting support for women. This year the theme is #EmbraceEquity.

“As a woman in business I am proud to celebrate International Women’s Day each year and showcase many of the women in property that I have the pleasure of working with. PR is quite a female dominated line of work and I work alongside some very talented women in my industry. The property industry is still very male dominated but more and more amazing women are working their way up in the property world and making their mark.”

“Property is all about relationships and as women we are naturally more empathetic. I’m fortunate to be surrounded by some amazing women within the industry who support and guide each other.”

“I’ve never felt that being a woman meant I couldn’t do or achieve anything I wanted to. Maybe I am naïve, but I simply refused to believe I was at a disadvantage because of my sex. I think mindset is key and believing in yourself no matter what. I absolutely recognise that women are severely underrepresented in the property industry, but that is starting to change.”
